I've been using Google Reader to manage my subscriptions for years now and it is a great way to keep track of all the interesting blogs I find. I particularly like to get viewpoints that don't come from the mainstream media. I also enjoy my daily doses of humor; one of my favorites is xkcd by Randall Munroe. A great recent post was a map on online communities.

Hummingbird
We have a hummingbird feeder in our backyard and the beautiful Anna's Hummingbirds visit all year round. Sometimes the battles between competing hummingbirds are quite fierce.
